Erin Hofmann

Erin leads project strategy and user onboarding for The Commons. Her role consists of aiding our stakeholders with the adoption of our technologies by deciphering their internal data management challenges and figuring out how our products and services can work for them, and building connections across the community. Erin aids our developers in providing structured user feedback to our development team to help The Commons continually improve its product offerings and assists in both roadmap development and deployment. Erin manages support requests as well as brand development for FieldDoc and Water Reporter. Erin support general Commons communications and development work, at the direction the Executive Director. Prior to joining The Commons, Erin most recently managed the Marine Program portfolio at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Erin grew and managed investment of more than $10 million of grants and public-private partnerships to improve target species, conservation landscapes, and the communities impacted by degraded resources. Ms. Hofmann has held positions at The Nature Conservancy, The National Audubon Society, and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center where she took advantage of her solid foundation in GIS, data management, and program management to grow programs that align operations and missions. Erin has also held positions in both the high technology operations consulting and finance sectors. Erin holds a BA from McGill University and a MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University.
